I am trying to sign a payment and I am getting the following error. Classic Client - Message - Device error?
This is error will usually occur if there is an issue with the card:
- Check that your card is working correctly. Log onto https://paymentservices.bacs.co.uk.
- Speak to your sponsoring bank to confirm that your card is working fine.
or the card reader:
- Check that the Reg Tool is running. If it is not, then the card will not be being read.
- It is often easier to reboot the machine with the card reader attached as this restarts the drivers and reg tool will run correctly.
