How do I change a mobile device for MFA (Multi Factor Authentication ) (two-step authentication)?

If you have set MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) up on a new device, but are having problems when trying to log into PT-X, then this is because your PT-X profile is still linked to your old mobile device.

To de-active MFA on your old device, so that you can set this up on your new device, please follow the below steps.

  •  Ask your administrator to reset your PT-X password. If you are the administrator, or your administrator is not available, please call into support, and we can complete the password reset.
  • Once you have reset your password, and have logged into PT-X successfully, you can then enable two-step authentication.
