I have logged onto the Bacs Payment Services website but am not getting the eSigner appear, what should I do?
If you are logging onto Payment Services and the Gemalto eSigner doesn’t appear for you to enter your pin number, this could be caused by a number of things.
You will need to be on the machine that has your card reader software installed on it. This is normally the same machine that you make submissions from.
Ensure that your Smartcard is in the reader and the reader is plugged into your PC.
Check the browser in use to access the website. You will need to be using Internet Explorer. This must be up to and including version 10.
Ensure that there are no pop up blockers stopping the software.
If you have any active-X requests to run an add-on ensure that these are run on the machine.
