Error: 'Unable to contact license server' in eCollect V5
In the presence of firewalls, the IT administrator is required to make necessary amendments to allow our products to access our licence and update server. The IP address for our license and update server is:
188.8.131.52, port 80 and 443
Please add 'AELUpdates.com' to windows trusted sites.
So you need to add the above IP address to your proxy server. In addition to the above please ensure that you can access the aelupdates website via Internet Explorer on the machine where eCollect V5 is to be installed.
Please ensure that port 80 and 443 connections is enabled on your PC. You need to be able to download binary, library and .ddl files for the eCollect V5 updates to take place successfully.
