Unable to sign - Error: You do not have a registered certificate.
If you are receiving the following error message, please follow the instructions below:
"You cannot authorise this payment because it requires signing and you do not have a certificate registered that would allow you to do so"
This error is caused when you try to authorise a submission as a user without an assigned certificate. Alternatively, this can be caused by trying to process a submission for a Service User Number (SUN) you are not linked too. To correct this follow the instructions below:
1. Make sure you are logged in as the user wanting to sign the submission. If you are not logged in as the correct user, close down ePay and login as the correct user. Browse to 'Payments' > 'Pending' and continue to process.
2. If you are logged in as the correct user but still receiving the error message, you will need to link the certificate to the user and the SUN. For assistance with this please see article: How can I link a new or existing smart card certificate in ePay?
