Why does my C-Series account keep getting locked out?

This will require a member of your I.T as well as a DBA (Database Administrator) to complete the following steps.

There is a ‘three strike’ rule in place for invalid logons. Once a user inputs their password incorrectly three times over any given time, the system will lock that account on the third strike and the account will require the password to be reset via the C-Series admin page.

Please Note: The number of ‘strikes’ against the account for each failed log on DO NOT reset after a successful logon.

The number of strikes a user currently has against their account can be viewed within the 'WEBSYSTEM.USERS' table within the database.

We recommend a backup of the database is performed before making any changes to the database.
