The error message “Internal error has occurred” when logging in, is presented when the Bottomline Bacs Rest service has stopped working. Please restart this service and then attempt your log on again.
Please Note: If you are repeatedly seeing this issue, then it would be advisable to check your Windows error logs for more information and to check the properties of the service and the recovery options. Change the options for the failure of the service to ‘Restart the service’.
In addition, also ask your database administrators to check the SQL database logs for failed Websystem connection attempts as the failure to start the REST service can be linked to database connectivity issues.
