The EISCD database within C-Series and C-Series DDM contains BACS valid sort codes and modulus checks to validate account numbers. This database must be kept up to date in order for the data checks to be as accurate as possible
The latest updates can be downloaded from http://www.bottomline.com/uk/iscd-updates using the password provided by the support team via email sent on monthly basis.
For C-series users please download “C-series 3”
For C-series DDM users please download both “C-series 3 and DDM for Cseries & Direct-IP Plus”
Once these have been downloaded the database can be updated as follows:
We recommend that this is done by somebody in your IT department who has full access to the server and is familiar with your IT infrastructure.
- Select correct application (in your case DDM for CSeries & Direct-IP Plus)
- Download the files and unzip them using password provided via email
- In Windows Services:
1. Stop the Paycentre Organiser service / Bottomline DirectDebit Organiser Service (depends on the version)
3.2. Stop the Bottomline Direct Rest service / Bottomline Direct Debit Service (depends on the version) - Copy the downloaded files and replace the existing files in following location:
<Product Location> \subsystems\directdebit\plugin - In Windows Services:
1. Start the Paycentre Organiser service / Bottomline DirectDebit Organiser Service (depends on the version)
5.2. Start the Bottomline Direct Rest service / Bottomline Direct Debit Service (depends on the version)
